“Reflections in the Rearview”

Full song lyrics:

(Verse 1, C – G – Am – F)
The sun sets on our little town, I’m driving away but I’m looking down
In my rearview mirror, where everything’s clearer
I see you standing on that porch, it’s a vision I can’t ignore
Reflections speaking louder than words.

(Chorus, G – Am – F – C)
Reflections in the rearview, saying goodbye to a love so true
I’m leaving behind, what’s been on my mind
Reflections in the rearview, I’m going, going but don’t want to
Cause in that mirror, I still see you.

(Verse 2, C – G – Am – F)
The further I go, the smaller you get, But in my heart, there’s no regret
Just the longing, and the song that we used to sing
Our laughter echoing in my ears, the love we had, the joy, the tears
All caught in the reflections in my rearview.

(Repeat Chorus, G – Am – F – C)
Reflections in the rearview, saying goodbye to a love so true
I’m leaving behind, what’s been on my mind
Reflections in the rearview, I’m going, going but don’t want to
Cause in that mirror, I still see you.
