Backstory:
Woeful Conception was birthed in the dingy basements of Marrickville, Sydney, in late 2015. The band is composed of four members: Braden “Brave” Davies, the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, who was once a travelling poet; “Titan” Tim Thorne, the bassist, a former wrestler who found solace in music; “Mad” Maxine Miller, the drummer and backing vocalist, a defunct painter who decided to create music instead of visual arts; and “Shadowy” Sean Olsen, the enigmatic lead guitarist who used to be a chess prodigy.
