Noteworthy Recovery

Backstory:

Noteworthy Recovery, the rising stars from the heart of Texas, are born from a myriad of experiences, trials, and tribulations. Originally a solo act by the singer-songwriter, Ryan Davis, the band formed in late 2016 after he met fellow band members in a local coffee shop gig. Guitarist, Pete Johnson, and drummer, Dave Miller, inspired by Ryan’s raw lyrics and melodies, suggested forming a band. Together, they went through a roller coaster ride, battling personal issues, addictions, and heartbreaks. Their shared experiences allowed them to bond and recover, which eventually gave birth to the band name ‘Noteworthy Recovery’.

Their name isn’t only a testament to their personal journey, but also a nod to their unique musical style, which they claim is ‘a recovery from the monotony of today’s mainstream music.’ Noteworthy Recovery, with their soulful lyrics and appealing melodies, are a refreshing addition to the music scene, providing a much-needed escape from life’s constant hustle and bustle.

Title:
“Chasing Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
(Em, C, G, D)
Em C G D
In the gloom of the twilight,
Em C G D
I see your silhouette.
Em C G D
Echoes of lost laughter,
Em C G D
A memory I can’t forget.

[Chorus]
(G, D, Em, C)
G D Em C
Chasing shadows, lost in time,
G D Em C
In the rhythm, in the rhyme.
G D Em C
Holding on to what was ours,
G D Em C
Underneath the fallen stars.

[Verse 2]
(Em, C, G, D)
Em C G D
In the depth of the night,
Em C G D
I hear your whispered words.
Em C G D
Resonating within,
Em C G D
A song of the unheard.

[Chorus]
(G, D, Em, C)
G D Em C
Chasing shadows, lost in time,
G D Em C
In the rhythm, in the rhyme.
G D Em C
Holding on to what was ours,
G D Em C
Underneath the fallen stars.

Favorite Fan:
Noteworthy Recovery’s favorite fan is Sarah Thompson, a music enthusiast from Austin. Sarah expresses her deep admiration for the band, saying, “Noteworthy Recovery is my all-time favorite because of the honesty and raw emotion in their music. They have this unique quality of turning pain into something beautiful. It’s not just music; it’s an experience. I’ve been to nearly all their gigs and there’s nothing quite like seeing them perform live. Their music gets me through tough times and for that, I’m forever grateful.”
