Backstory:
Costly Sleep is a band that was formed in 2005 in the heart of the bustling city of Chicago. The band consists of four members: Jeff Farley (lead vocalist and guitarist), Aaron Hendricks (drummer), Eddie Rodriguez (bassist), and Tim Mason (keyboardist). As childhood friends, these four shared a deep passion for music, often hanging out in their basements, trying to recreate the music of their favorite bands. They were not satisfied with just “being fans”, they wanted to create their own sound. After years of practicing, the four friends finally gathered the courage to perform at a local bar. The performance was a hit, and the positive response led them to form their own band, now known as Costly Sleep.
The band members view their journey as a series of trials, tribulations, and victories. The name “Costly Sleep” represents their early struggles, sleepless nights, and the sacrifices they made to pursue their passion for music. Their music reflects their experiences, struggles, and their journey to success.
