Backstory:

Respectful Receiver was born in the heart of Los Angeles in 2012, the brainchild of childhood friends and talented musicians, Daniel ‘Dusty’ Grohl, and Kevin ‘Kev’ O’Leary. The small garage band that started as a fun project between friends quickly grew into a full-fledged music endeavor, with the addition of drummer, Cindy ‘Cyndi’ Kwan, and bassist, Tim ‘Timmie’ Davidson. Their shared love for the rhythm and the sound led to the formation of Respectful Receiver. Each member brought their unique musical influences into the band, forming a mix of classic rock and modern alternative.

Their overnight success came with their debut album ‘Talk Back’, which was well received by music critics and fans. Their unique sound resonated with the audience, and Respectful Receiver quickly became one of the most promising bands in the LA music scene. Despite the fame, the band members still value their origins and often perform at local bars and small venues. They believe in giving back to their community and holding true to their roots.
