Backstory:
Loose Length was formed in a small suburban neighborhood of Seattle in 2004 when three childhood friends – Jonny Simpson (vocals, guitar), Kyle Mitchell (bass), and Sam Rodgers (drums) – decided to channel their shared love for music into a collaborative endeavor. The name ‘Loose Length’ was inspired by their carefree and somewhat detached approach to life. Their music mirrored their ethos – spontaneous, raw, and undefined – creating an indescribable magnetism that soon drew a massive following.

In 2006, they added a fourth member, Lydia Greene (keyboard, synthesizer), who added depth and dimension to their already distinctive sound. Despite facing the typical ups and downs of a nascent band, Loose Length’s members held onto their unique bond and passion for music. They managed to create a sound that resonated with people of all backgrounds, translating their experiences and emotions into powerful, relatable tunes.
