Backstory:
Optimistic Drama was born in the heart of Austin, Texas, in 2010. Founding members, Tommie “Torch” Farrell, a skilled guitarist with a flair for the theatrical, and Jessie “Jester” Harkins, a lyrically blessed singer with a unique voice, met at a local open mic night where they instantly connected. They decided to join their talents and formed a band that embodied their shared belief in the transformative power of positive thinking, hence the name Optimistic Drama. The band expanded over the years to include drummer Rafael “Riff” Gonzales and bassist Kelly “Karma” Whitacre. Together, they set out to create a unique, resonant sound that would capture the hearts of fans worldwide.
