Backstory:
Formed in the mystifying wharfs of Boston, Massachusetts, ‘Soggy Track’ emerged in 2013, when a group of four seafaring friends decided to go beyond their maritime tales and express their experiences and adventures through music. The band members, namely, Kenneth ‘Ken’ Malone (vocals and guitar), Joshua ‘Josh’ Leeson (bass), George ‘Geo’ Wainwright (drums), and Patrick ‘Pat’ O’Brien (lead guitar), were all dockworkers who found their solace and shared passion in music. They started their journey by performing in local bars and slowly started gaining recognition for their unique sound and heart-touching lyrics. The band was named ‘Soggy Track’, reflecting their maritime origins and the path they had chosen, infused with their love for music.

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Sailing forth, [C] under a clouded sky,
[G] Dreams in our eyes, and [C] anchors left behind.
[D] On our ship, [G] we carve our destiny,
[D] Amidst the salt and storms, [G] we find our harmony.
(Chorus)
[C] Salt and storms, [G] under the moon’s soft light,
[C] Against the tide, [G] we find the strength to fight.
[D] Moving on, with [G] a soggy track,
[D] There’s no looking back, [G] no looking back.
(Verse 2)
[G] Waves whisper, [C] secrets of the deep,
[G] Casting doubts, but [C] promises we keep.
[D] In every gust, [G] in every sea-swept tear,
[D] We find our song, [G] crystal clear.
(Chorus)
[C] Salt and storms, [G] under the moon’s soft light,
[C] Against the tide, [G] we find the strength to fight.
[D] Moving on, with [G] a soggy track,
[D] There’s no looking back, [G] no looking back.
(Bridge)
[D] We’re the sons of the sea, [A] bound by a melody,
[G] Sailing forth, [C] finding our legacy.
[D] With a song in our hearts, [A] on the horizon’s brink,
[G] We stand together, [C] stronger than we think.
(Chorus)
[C] Salt and storms, [G] under the moon’s soft light,
[C] Against the tide, [G] we find the strength to fight.
[D] Moving on, with [G] a soggy track,
[D] There’s no looking back, [G] no looking back.
(Outro)
[G] So here’s our song, [C] of salt and storms,
[G] A soggy track, [C] where legends are born.

Testimonial: “Soggy Track is more than just a band to me. They have a way of making me feel heard, understood, and less alone. As someone who has spent much of her life by the sea, their music resonates with me on a deeper level. “Salt and Storms” has become my anthem – it’s about struggle, resilience, and the beauty of the journey. Every song, every lyric, feels like home. I’ve seen them perform in bars when they just started, and even now when they are playing for larger crowds, their genuine passion and soulfulness never waver. They are my favorite because they’re real, raw, and they remind me that even in the midst of storms, we can find our song.”
