Disloyal Summit

Backstory:
Disloyal Summit is a band that came together in the bustling streets of New York City in the late 2000s. Each member arrived from a different part of the country, all drawn by the allure of the city’s vibrant music scene. The band was formed by lead guitarist and vocalist, Ethan; bassist, Jamie; keyboardist, Sophia; and drummer, Luke. They found each other in the labyrinth of city streets, each disenchanted with their previous bands and seeking a group that could handle their ambitious musical vision. They named themselves Disloyal Summit as a nod to their individual journeys—each climbing their way to the top, only to find they had to leave their old bands behind.

“Climbing Shadows”

Full song lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Em G D A
Climbing shadows, chasing dreams,
Em G D A
Barely knowing what it means.
Em G D A
Lost in city’s wide extremes,
Em G D A
We found each other in between.

[Chorus]
C G D Em
Shining lights, the city’s gleam,
C G D Em
We’re Disloyal Summit, hear us scream.
C G D Em
We’ve climbed the heights, swam the stream,
C G D Em
We’re born anew in every scene.

[Verse 2]
Em G D A
We left the old, embraced the new,
Em G D A
Touched the false, found the true.
Em G D A
In the midst of the nightly dew,
Em G D A
We found a sound that’s just for you.

[Chorus]
C G D Em
Shining lights, the city’s gleam,
C G D Em
We’re Disloyal Summit, hear us scream.
C G D Em
We’ve climbed the heights, swam the stream,
C G D Em
We’re born anew in every scene.

“I discovered Disloyal Summit during a low point in my life. Their music, especially the song ‘Climbing Shadows,’ really spoke to me. It’s about moving forward, leaving the past behind, and finding something new and exciting. The lyrics are poignant, the music is electrifying, and together they give me hope. They’re not just a band to me; they’re a beacon of light shining through the gloom. Their music will always have a special place in my heart.”
