Backstory:
Leafy Fuel was conceived in the heart of Portland, Oregon, in a small, rustic basement bar named ‘The Green Pine’. Lead singer and guitarist, Julian Forrest, met drummer, Katie Green, during an open mic night and their shared love for the environment and music led to an immediate connection. They soon recruited bassist, Neil, and keyboardist, Sam, both friends from their college days. Their shared passion for raising environmental awareness through their music became a defining characteristic of their band, Leafy Fuel.
The initial days were challenging, with money running low and their music barely getting noticed. However, their breakthrough came when they performed at a local Earth Day event. Their distinct style and heartfelt performances started gaining attention, their music resonating with people’s growing concern for the environment. From there, Leafy Fuel embarked on a musical journey that continues to touch hearts and raise awareness about our planet’s dwindling health.
