Backstory:
Enlightened Charge is an ensemble that emerged from the vibrant college town of Boulder, Colorado in 2012. The band was born in the dorm room of charismatic lead singer, Jonathon Wren, an English major with a passion for poetry and music, and his roommate, the keen-eyed guitarist, Austin Davies. When their shared love for music started echoing through the corridors, it caught the attention of the talented drummer, Riley McManus, an astrophysics student, and the chemistry major with a flair for bass, Kaitlyn Foster. The four of them started jamming together in the dorms, and before they knew it, they were performing at local cafes, quickly gathering a strong local fanbase.

Enlightened Charge has carved out their unique identity in the Indie Rock genre. While their music is rooted in the traditions of rock and indie, it is characterized by their blend of poetic lyrics and emotionally-charged melodies.
