Backstory:
Creamy Climate, formed in 2014, is a unique blend of four friends who met in the most unlikely of places – a climate change conference in Sydney, Australia. The quartet, consisting of lead singer/guitarist Jake Thompson, bassist Lily McAdams, drummer Nicky “Boom” Richardson, and keyboardist Hector Gomez, found an unexpected common ground in their love for music. Over coffee shop discussions and late-night jam sessions, they decided to lend their voices to the cause of climate awareness, but with a melodious twist.
Their journey, starting from playing small gigs at local community centers to performing on large stages at music festivals, has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. They have used their music as a tool to communicate the urgency of climate change, but also to share stories of hope, resilience, and the beautiful ties that bind us all to Mother Nature.

Title:
“Melting Ice, Rising Hope”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] There’s a story ’bout the world, [Am] we all call home,
[C] Of a sky once clear and blue, [D] now grey as stone.
[G] Oceans rising, forests falling, [Am] Creatures great and small,
[C] Are we too late for the call? [D]
(Chorus)
[G] Melting ice, rising hope, [Am] can’t we see the scope,
[C] We’ve got just one Earth, [D] no room to elope.
[G] Our time is now, let’s stand and cope,
[Am] With melting ice but rising hope. [D]
(Verse 2)
[G] Look at the child, in her eyes a gleam, [Am] a world to roam,
[C] Can we gift her an Earth, [D] that feels like home?
[G] Let’s change the rhythm, let’s change the beat, [Am] Let’s hit the street,
[C] With love for life, let’s stand and meet. [D]
(Repeat Chorus)
