Naive Document

Backstory:
In the heart of the bustling metropolis of New York City, four strangers from different walks of life were brought together by their shared love for music. Jake, a busker, was known for his soulful voice and powerful lyrics; he was discovered by Max, a guitarist and music producer looking for the right voice to fit his music. Meanwhile, Mandy, a drummer who played in jazz clubs, was introduced to Max through a mutual friend. The trio eventually stumbled upon Ron, a talented bassist they found performing in a subway station. They saw potential in each other, and thus, Naive Document was born. The band’s name was inspired by their belief in the raw honesty of music, akin to a naive document that captures life as it is.

“Subway Stories”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Em G D A
Subway stories, etched in the underground,
Em G D A
Strangers passing, lost in the city sound.
Em G D A
We find ourselves, in the rhythm of the crowd,
Em G D A
Whispers of dreams, that dare not speak aloud.

[Chorus]
C G D Em
We’re the naive documents, of life’s fairy tale,
C G D Em
In the heart of the city, where love and loss prevail.
C G D Em
Through the subway stories, where our hearts set sail,
C G D Em
We’re the naive documents, our stories never frail.

[Verse 2]
Em G D A
Beneath the city lights, we find our way,
Em G D A
Through the noise, our music begins to play.
Em G D A
Every chord, every beat, every word we say,
Em G D A
In the heart of the city, we find our day.

[Chorus]
C G D Em
We’re the naive documents, of life’s ballet,
C G D Em
In the heart of the city, where dreams come out to play.
C G D Em
Through the subway stories, we find our way,
C G D Em
We’re the naive documents, our music here to stay.
