Backstory:
Monthly Foot, a band from the small town of Riverton, Wyoming, came together in the summer of 2005. Comprising four childhood friends – Jared (vocals), Tony (guitar), Mark (drums), and Kevin (bass) – the band was born out of a shared love for music and a desire to escape the monotony of small-town life. The name ‘Monthly Foot’ was derived from an inside joke among the members, referencing a time when Tony broke his foot every month playing football.
Influenced by the local music scene and the individual musical tastes of each member, Monthly Foot spent the first few years experimenting with different genres. They performed at local gigs and music festivals, steadily gaining a solid fan base. The band found their stride when they fused their diverse influences to create a unique sound that resonated with their audience.
Genre:
Alternative Rock with elements of Blues

“Echoes of Riverton”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G]Riverton nights, [D]under the lights, [Em]we were so young
[C]Dreaming big, [G]playing the gig, [D]our story’s just begun
[G]Small town blues, [D]in our shoes, [Em]we danced it away
[C]On the road, [G]with our notes, [D]we had something to say
(Chorus)
[C]Echoes of Riverton, [G]carried by the wind
[Am]In our hearts, [Em]it’s where we’ve always been
[D]Strumming out the rhythm, [C]singing our song
[G]In the echoes of Riverton, [D]we belong
(Verse 2)
[G]County fair, [D]music in the air, [Em]we played our tune
[C]Crowds would cheer, [G]drowning our fears, [D]underneath the moon
[G]Chasing dreams, [D]in steel strings, [Em]we found our voice
[C]In every verse, [G]in the universe, [D]we made our choice
(Chorus)
[C]Echoes of Riverton, [G]whispering in our ear
[Am]Voices of the past, [Em]we always hold near
[D]Strumming out the rhythm, [C]singing our song
[G]In the echoes of Riverton, [D]we belong
