Backstory:
Cuddly Prospect was formed in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in a small, quaint town in West Virginia. Three childhood friends, Aaron (vocals, guitar), Ben (drums), and Carla (bass, backing vocals), found common ground in their shared love for music. After high school, they pursued different paths but serendipitously reunited at a music festival years later, which rekindled their passion. Realizing that their unique blend of musical styles was too good to ignore, they decided to form a band, thus birthing Cuddly Prospect.
The name of the band, Cuddly Prospect, came about from their desire to combine the soft, comforting aspects of music with the enthusiastic anticipation of future success. Their music has been described as a comforting blanket of sound, lulling listeners into a dreamy state, all while keeping them on their toes with unexpected musical twists and turns.

(Verse 1)
[G] Down by the [D] riverside, [Em] under willow’s [C] cry,
[G] I heard your [D] whispers in the [C] wind.
[G] The leaves rustled, [D] the water sighed, [Em] your voice was like a [C] lullaby,
[G] Singing of [D] love that will never [C] end.
(Chorus)
[C] Whispers in the [G] wind, carry my [D] love to you,
[C] Under the moon’s [G] glow, where the [D] wildflowers grew.
[C] Across the [G] mountains, past the [D] ocean’s blue,
[C] You’ll hear my [G] whispers in the [D] wind, saying [G] I love [D] you.
(Verse 2)
[G] Night descended, [D] stars aligned, [Em] your echoes danced in my [C] mind,
[G] A symphony of [D] memories, sweet and [C] kind.
[G] Shadows played, the [D] fire died, [Em] in the silence, your [C] voice I find,
[G] Telling tales of [D] our love, forever [C] intertwined.
(Repeat Chorus)

“My love for Cuddly Prospect is as vast as the Appalachian Mountains they hail from. Their music combines the nostalgia of folk with the energy of rock, and it just speaks to my soul. Each song is a story, a journey, which has helped me through some tough times. I’ve been to every single one of their shows within a 200-mile radius. Aaron, Ben, and Carla are just the most down-to-earth people, and their passion for their craft is evident in every note they play. My favorite song is ‘Whispers in the Wind’. The lyrics are so evocative and beautiful; it’s like a love letter delivered by nature itself.”
