Backstory:

Grouchy Will was born from the ashes of a small indie band in Portland, Oregon. Composed of four members – Jason (Lead Singer), Max (Guitarist), Tommy (Bassist), and Sam (Drummer) – each one came from different musical backgrounds, which gave them a unique sound. The name Grouchy Will was a tribute to Jason’s grandfather, who use to grumble about today’s music, always saying it lacked soul and passion. The band wished to prove him wrong and even though he passed away before their breakthrough, his spirit lives on in every note they play.

Having played in local bars and small gigs, Grouchy Will gained a cult following for their refreshing sound and heartfelt lyrics. Their big break came in 2015 when a local radio station gave their demo a spin, leading to a record deal and their first album. Since then, they’ve been making waves in the indie music scene, touching hearts, and challenging the status quo with their unique brand of music.
