First Leather

Backstory:

First Leather, a group conceived in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, represents the quintessential spirit of rock and roll. The band members; lead vocalist Mick ‘Blade’ Stinson, guitarist Johnny ‘Razor’ O’Reilly, drummer Ricky ‘Hammer’ Smith, and bassist Tommy ‘Fingers’ Malone, met in a notorious local biker bar, all four sharing the same passion for music and motorcycles. Mick, Johnny, and Ricky were mechanics by day and amateur musicians by night, while Tommy was a tattoo artist who played bass guitar in his spare time. They decided to combine their talents and formed First Leather, a name inspired by their love for leather jackets and biker culture.

Their journey from performing in smoky bars to selling out concert halls is a tale of resilience, unity, and an unyielding passion for music. Their first big break came when a talent scout from a record label happened to walk into one of their gigs and was blown away by their raw energy and innovative sound.

Title:

“Chrome Hearted ”

Lyrics:

[Verse 1] (C, G, Am, F)
In the heart of the city, (C)
Under neon lights, (G)
Riding on my iron horse, (Am)
In the cold, dark night. (F)

[Verse 2] (C, G, Am, F)
Got my leather jacket on, (C)
And my chrome heart shining bright, (G)
In this world of chaos, (Am)
Just trying to do what’s right. (F)

[Chorus] (C, G, Am, F)
Chrome hearted, we ride, (C)
In the hard city nights, (G)
Living life on the edge, (Am)
In the soft moonlight. (F)
Chrome hearted, we ride, (C)
With the wind in our hair, (G)
First Leather, our guide, (Am)
Living without a care. (F)

[Repeat Verse 1 and 2]

[Repeat Chorus]

“I’ve been a fan of First Leather since their bar gig days. Their music, it just speaks to me, y’know? I feel like they’re singing about my life. It’s about the freedom of the road, the brotherhood of riders, and the heart of rock and roll. I’ve followed them through every dive bar and every stadium. Their song ‘Chrome Hearted’ is my anthem – it’s tattooed on my arm. I’ve met a lot of bands in my time, but no one compares to First Leather. These guys are the real deal.”
