Afraid Stamp

Backstory:
Afraid Stamp was born in the heart of New York City’s underground music scene. The members, consisting of lead singer Jack ‘Jax’ Rivers, bassist Kevin ‘Kev’ O’Neil, drummer Sarah ‘Saz’ Harrison, and guitarist Alex ‘Lex’ Thompson, met by chance at a punk rock concert in 2014 and realized they shared a common dissatisfaction with the state of music. They wanted something raw, something real. Using their mutual frustration as fuel, they started making music in a small basement, combining their unique influences and talents. The name ‘Afraid Stamp’ reflected their fear of being stereotyped or branded, a sentiment that resonates in their music.

Song Title:
“Unseen Echoes”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Am (C) G (D)
Down in the shadows where we used to dance,
Am (C) G (D)
Chasing the echoes in this expanse.
Am (C) G (D)
Hiding from the demons beneath the streetlights,
Am (C) G (D)
Fighting for the dreams that fill our nights.

[Chorus]
F (G) C (D)
We’re the unseen echoes, we’re the silent cries,
F (G) C (D)
Born from the ashes, where the old world dies.
F (G) C (D)
We’re the unheard voices, in the city’s roar,
F (G) C (D)
Born from the shadows, we’re the unheard roar.

[Verse 2]
Am (C) G (D)
In the cold winds, beneath the moon’s glare,
Am (C) G (D)
We’re the unheard echoes, lost in the air.
Am (C) G (D)
In the city’s heartbeat, in the city’s veins,
Am (C) G (D)
We’re the unheard echoes, we’re the silent pain.

[Chorus]

Fan Testimonial:
My name is Lisa ‘Lizard’ Hendricks, and Afraid Stamp is my favorite band, hands down. Their music speaks to me on a level that other bands just can’t reach. Their lyrics are raw, their sound is intense, and their energy is infectious. I’ve been following them since their first basement gig, and it’s been phenomenal to see them grow. I’ve got every album, every piece of merchandise, and I’ve been front row at every show. Afraid Stamp isn’t just a band to me; they’re a lifestyle, an anthem for those of us who refuse to be categorized or stamped out.
