Backstory:
Wooden Definition originated from the vibrant music scene of Seattle, Washington, in 2008. The band comprised of four childhood friends – Brandon (Lead vocals, Guitar), Tom (Bass), Mike (Drums) and Sam (Keyboard, Backing vocals). The name ‘Wooden Definition’ was coined on a cold, rainy afternoon when the group was hanging out in Brandon’s treehouse, which was the band’s first makeshift studio. This name represented their affinity towards earthy, organic tones and a desire to redefine genres with their unique sound.
The band’s music journey started out as a hobby, playing in local bars and small gigs. Their big break came when one of their demo tapes caught the attention of a well-known record producer and they landed a record deal. Wooden Definition took the music industry by storm with their distinct sound, blending alternative rock with a hint of folk and blues, marking a new era in the music industry.
Genre:
Alternative Rock with elements of Folk and Blues.

A canvas of grey in the sky so wide,

Reflections of us in the puddle’s tide.
