Backstory:
Watery Vessel is a band that was formed in the heart of rainy Seattle in 2011 by a group of college friends – Phil, Josh, and Emma. They had been writing and playing music together for their own satisfaction, gathering in the back of a small coffee shop on weekends. A chance encounter with a local music producer during one of their impromptu jam sessions led to their first album being recorded a year later.
The band quickly gained a local following with their music resonating with people who appreciated their uniquely raw and soulful sound. They earned their name ‘Watery Vessel’ due to their ability to channel deep emotions into their music – much like water taking the shape of its vessel. This, paired with their refreshing honesty and authenticity, has led to their steady rise in the world of indie music.
