Meek Canvas

Backstory:

Meek Canvas hails from the windswept streets of Seattle, where their shared love of art, music, and poetry brought them together in a rundown loft space in the city’s eclectic Fremont district. The band was formed by lead singer Luca and guitarist Mason in 2010, both of whom came from considerably different backgrounds. Luca was a struggling artist who was selling paintings on the streets, whereas Mason had a more corporate background in software development. However, their love for music united them, and Meek Canvas was born. They were later joined by bassist Riley and drummer Harper, two siblings who were drawn to the band’s raw and emotional sound.

Title:
“Fragments of a Dream”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Am – G – F – G
I paint my fears on a meek canvas,
Am – G – F – G
Nightmares flourish in the moon’s chalice.
Am – G – F – G
Broken dreams and shattered hopes,
Am – G – F – G
Climbing life’s relentless slopes.

[Chorus]
C – G – Am – F
Fragments of a dream, lost in the stream,
C – G – Am – F
Chasing shadows, for a gleam.
C – G – Am – F
In the mirror of the night, we ignite,
C – G – Am – F
Fragments of a dream, taking flight.

[Verse 2]
Am – G – F – G
Lost in thoughts, in the city’s glare,
Am – G – F – G
Fighting demons, in the icy air.
Am – G – F – G
Cracks in the heart, too deep to mend,
Am – G – F – G
In this journey, with no end.

[Chorus]
C – G – Am – F
Fragments of a dream, lost in the stream,
C – G – Am – F
Chasing shadows, for a gleam.
C – G – Am – F
In the mirror of the night, we ignite,
C – G – Am – F
Fragments of a dream, taking flight.

Favorite Fan’s Name, Testimonial:

“Ever since I saw Meek Canvas at a small bar five years ago, I’ve been their biggest fan. My name is Fiona, and I have every album, every piece of merch, and have been to every one of their shows within a 300-mile radius. Their music speaks to my soul; it’s raw, it’s poetic, and it’s real. The lyricism in ‘Fragments of a Dream’ resonates with my own life struggles. It’s as if they’ve painted my thoughts and emotions into their music. Their songs are my refuge, my comfort, my strength. They remind me that it’s okay to be broken, it’s okay to be meek, and it’s okay to have dreams, no matter how fragmented they may seem.”
