Backstory:
Familiar Classroom was formed in a college dorm in 2006 by three close friends, Ethan Keller (vocals/guitar), Jason Hart (drums), and Ryan Reynolds (bass). Ethan was studying English Literature, Jason was pursuing a degree in Psychology, and Ryan was a Fine Arts major. Their shared passion for music and a desire to express themselves inspired them to form a band. They started playing at small college events, gaining popularity within their campus, and soon their music started to garner attention outside the college as well. The band’s name, ‘Familiar Classroom’, was inspired by the fact that their friendship and music journey started in their familiar college environment.

Title:
“Echoing Hallways”
Full Song Lyrics:
Verse 1: (C-G-Am-F)
C G Am F
In the echoing hallways of our past,
C G Am F
Here we are, moving forward, moving fast.
C G Am F
We’ve grown from whispers in the classroom,
C G Am F
To echoes in the hallway, no more gloom.
Chorus: (Am-G-F-C)
Am G F C
Echoing hallways, echoing dreams,
Am G F C
Life is not always what it seems.
Am G F C
Growing up, we’ve learned to fly,
Am G F C
Underneath the same old sky.
Verse 2: (C-G-Am-F)
C G Am F
The same old corridors, the same old walls,
C G Am F
Life’s lessons learned in these school halls.
C G Am F
Young hearts beating, full of dreams,
C G Am F
Life was simpler, or so it seems.
(Repeat Chorus)
