Fortunate Leaflet

Backstory:

Hailing from the cultural melting pot of San Francisco, Fortunate Leaflet was formed by five childhood friends — lead singer and guitarist, Liam O’Conner; guitarist, Jeremy Fisher; bassist, Steve Clark; drummer, Rusty Smith; and keyboardist, Emily Mitchell. Their shared love for music and life brought them together, and they found a unique resonance with each other’s creativity and talent.

They started playing around local coffee shops, and their distinct sound quickly caught the attention of the local music scene. Their music reflects their collective experiences and shared memories. They were signed by a record label after a talent scout happened to be in one of the coffee shops where they were performing. Known for their catchy, soulful tunes and meaningful lyrics, Fortunate Leaflet has managed to carve a unique niche for themselves in the heart of their fans.

Title:

“Ripple in the Stream”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am C G
I found a leaflet, fortunate and bright,
Am C G
Floating through the wind, under golden light.
Am C G
I watched it dance and twirl, a whimsical sight,
Am C G
Whispering the secrets of the endless night.

(Chorus)
Em D C
Let’s be like the Ripple in the Stream,
Em D C
Living our lives, a beautiful dream,
Em D C
Just going with the flow, it might seem,
Em D C
In the end, we’re all part of the scene.

(Verse 2)
Am C G
Drifting through the currents, without a fight,
Am C G
Echoing the rhythm, dancing in the night.
Am C G
Embracing the journey, with endless delight,
Am C G
Just like a leaflet, fortunate and bright.

(Chorus)
Em D C
Let’s be like the Ripple in the Stream,
Em D C
Living our lives, a beautiful dream,
Em D C
Just going with the flow, it might seem,
Em D C
In the end, we’re all part of the scene.

Testimonial: “I’ve been following Fortunate Leaflet since their early days. I was there when they played their first gig at our local coffee shop. Their music speaks to me on such a personal level. It’s like they’re narrating my life story. The ups and downs, the joy and sorrow, they capture it all so beautifully. Their song ‘Ripple in the Stream’ is like an anthem to me. I wake up to it and it’s the last song I hear before I go to sleep. In the stormy sea of life, their music is my lighthouse. That’s why Fortunate Leaflet is my favorite band, today and always.”
