Title:
“Blue Lights in the Rain”

Full song lyrics:

(Verse)
G D Am C
Walking down the avenue, under the city’s hue,
Blue lights in the rain, oh they’re calling my name.
With shadows dancing in the night, under the neon light,
I feel a little out of sight, lost in the city’s fight.

(Chorus)
C G D Em
Blue lights in the rain, can you feel my pain?
Just a lonely constable, in the city’s fable.
In this world, so insane, only the music remains,
Blue lights in the rain, echoes of the constable’s strain.

(Verse)
G D Am C
Between the heartaches and the dreams, nothing’s what it seems,
Under the city’s gleam, I’m on the edge of this dream.
Caught in the rhythm of the night, under the starlight,
I’m dancing through the fight, oh the city’s plight.

(Chorus)
C G D Em
Blue lights in the rain, can you feel my pain?
Just a lonely constable, in the city’s fable.
In this world, so insane, only the music remains,
Blue lights in the rain, echoes of the constable’s strain.

Amy Thompson

Amy’s testimonial:
“Responsible Constable is my favorite band because they’re not just about the music, it’s the soul they put into it. Their lyrics speak to me in a way that no other band has managed to do so far; it’s as if they’re narrating my life story. I’ve been following them since their university days, and to see how much they’ve grown, both musically and personally, is a testament to their authenticity. ‘Blue Lights in the Rain’ is my personal favorite – it’s pure poetry set to music. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!”
