Backstory:
Formed in the small Midwest town of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Simplistic Quiver started as a group of high school friends trying to escape the monotony of their rural lives through music. The band originally consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist, Nathan Hayes, bassist, Olivia Moore, and drummer, Jake Foster. In the early days, they converted Foster’s father’s barn into a makeshift studio, where they spent countless hours composing lyrics and experimenting with various sounds. Their struggle to make a name for themselves in a town with a small music scene eventually led them to move to Nashville, where their unique sound was quickly recognized, and they signed with a small independent label.

Title:
“Midnight Sun”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em / G / D / A
In the heartland where the wheat fields sway,
Just beyond the break of day,
We found a rhythm in the midnight sun,
A song of freedom, our journey begun.
(Chorus)
C / G / D / Em
Midnight sun, guide us home,
Through fields of gold, where we’d roam.
Let our song echo in the night,
As we journey under your soft light.
(Verse 2)
Em / G / D / A
In the city, under neon stars,
Strumming guitars in smoky bars,
We played our hearts out, bared our soul,
Chasing dreams, rock n roll.
(Chorus)
C / G / D / Em
Midnight sun, our guiding star,
Show us dreams, near and far.
We’ll sing our song, loud and clear,
A melody for all to hear.
