The journey of Finished Nerve began in the bustling city of Chicago, during the summer of 2009. On the corner of Waveland and Sheffield, four strangers, each with their own distinct musical background, met by pure coincidence. They swiftly gained a local following and managed to release their self-titled album by 2012. It was an unexpected success, leading to several national tours and even a few international ones.

Title:
“Interstate Ghosts”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am G D Am
On a dark night, under the neon light,
G D Am
I see the shadows of the interstate ghosts,
G D Am
They’re humming along, to our lonely song,
G D Am
Lost in the echoes, of the love we boast.
(Chorus)
C G D Em
Interstate ghosts, don’t you know?
C G D Em
You’re the echoes of our love, now just a show,
C G D Em
Under the neon light, and the moon’s soft glow,
C G D Em
You’re the love we lost, in the undertow.
(Verse 2)
Am G D Am
You were my dawn, now you’re my dusk,
G D Am
With every mile, I feel the sinking trust,
G D Am
Listen to the ghosts, hear their haunting lull,
G D Am
Together and alone, in the twilight’s cull.
(Repeat Chorus)
