Backstory:
Strident Opinion was formed in the winter of 2009 at a small coffee shop in downtown Seattle. The founding members, Jack Carter and Alice Mitchell, were two passionate music lovers who met at an underground open mic night. Sharing a love for intricate melodies and powerful lyrics, the duo decided to join forces to create an unique sound. Jack was a classically trained guitarist, while Alice was a self-taught pianist with a hauntingly beautiful voice. Over time, they added drummer Mike Richards and bassist Lisa Donovan to their ranks, and the band started gaining traction in the local scene.

Despite facing many obstacles on their way to stardom, Strident Opinion has always stayed true to their roots. They’ve fought their way up from basement concerts to sold-out stadiums without losing their raw, emotive sound. Their music journey is a testament to their perseverance and belief in their craft.
