Sinful Opinion

Backstory:

Founded in the heart of London in 2013, Sinful Opinion started off as a group of friends with a shared passion for music who would jam together in their small basement. Over time, the band started to write their music and garnered a small but dedicated following in their local scene, known for their thunderous performances and raw lyrical provocations. The band members are: lead vocalist and guitarist, Max “Mad Dog” Turner, drummer, Eddie “The Hammer” Hopkins, bassist, Tom “The Riff Wizard” Winters, and keyboardist, Kieran “Keys” Kelly. Sinful Opinion started to gain recognition after winning a local Battle of the Bands, earning the opportunity to record their first EP, and haven’t looked back since.

Genre:

Sinful Opinion is a Hard Rock Band with a uniquely British twist, blending elements of Punk and Blues into their sound. Their music is often characterized by powerful, gritty vocals, aggressive guitar riffs, pounding drum beats, and lyrics that challenge societal norms and conventions.

Title:

A song title from their recent album is “Throne of Lies.”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em / G / D / C
In the heart of the city, beneath the neon skies,
I found a throne of lies, where truth goes to die.
In the eyes of the stranger, in the sweetest goodbyes,
Lies the throne of lies, oh it’s no surprise.

(Chorus)
C / G / D / Em
Oh, the throne of lies, where the devil hides,
In the heart of the city, beneath the neon skies.
In the throne of lies, where our innocence dies,
In the sweetest goodbyes, it’s no surprise.

(Verse 2)
Em / G / D / C
In the words of the preacher, in the sinner’s sighs,
I felt the throne of lies, oh it’s no surprise.
In the tears of the angels, in the shadow’s cries,
Lies the throne of lies, where the truth dies.

(Chorus)
C / G / D / Em
Oh, the throne of lies, where the devil hides,
In the words of the preacher, in the sinner’s sighs.
In the throne of lies, where our innocence dies,
In the shadow’s cries, it’s no surprise.
