“Broken Record”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[E]Living in a town of ghosts and strangers,
[A]Fumbling through the pages of my life.
[D]Never thought I’d end up so enraptured,
[G]Caught in the crossfire of your lies.

(Chorus)
[A]You’re a broken record, spinning round,
[D]Playing the same old song, wearing me down.
[G]Got to find a way to switch the sound,
[E]Before this broken record, breaks me down.

(Verse 2)
[E]Walking on the edge of moonlit alleyways,
[A]Drenched in the aftermath of your deceit.
[D]Burning bridges, building walls,
[G]To keep my heart safe from your retreat.

(Chorus)
[A]You’re a broken record, spinning round,
[D]Playing the same old song, wearing me down.
[G]Got to find a way to switch the sound,
[E]Before this broken record, breaks me down.

(Outro)
[E]Someday I’ll find the strength to walk away,
[A]From the melody that holds me bound.
[D]But till then I’ll be your broken record,
[G]Caught in the spin of your sound.

Fan’s Testimonial:

My name is Lisa Sterling, and Uniform Lion is my favorite band. Their music resonates with my spirit, and their songs are a mirror to my soul. Each chord, each lyric, they strike a chord within me, making me feel understood and less alone. I’ve been following them since their early days, and their growth and evolution as a band have been phenomenal. Eliot, Leander, Marianne, and Jake, they’re not just musicians to me, they’re my heroes.
