Variable Curtain

Backstory:
Variable Curtain was formed in 2012 when four college roommates discovered their shared love for music. It all began in their dingy shared apartment, with music sessions that lasted late into the night. The band’s name, ‘Variable Curtain’, was inspired by the tattered curtain that hung in their living room, which they would often use as a backdrop for their impromptu gigs. Their shared experiences, struggles, and triumphs became the backbone of their songs, each one capturing a moment of their journey together.

It was not long before their unique sound caught the attention of a local radio station, leading to their first big break. The band’s popularity soared, and they quickly amassed a loyal fan following, their music resonating with people from all walks of life. Despite their newfound fame, Variable Curtain stayed true to their roots, their songs still telling stories of everyday life, love, heartbreak, and hope.

Title:
“Echoes in the Hallway”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Am – F – G – Em
Lost in the echoes of a familiar hallway,
Where memories are painted on the walls.
Recalling your laughter, your voice calling my name,
In the silence, it’s your echoes that I recall.

[Verse 2]
Am – F – G – Em
We danced in the shadows, we dreamt in the light,
In rooms filled with stories untold.
The echoes they whisper, the memories they hold,
In the hallway where our love had once unfold.

[Chorus]
C – G – Am – F
Echoes in the hallway, they scream your name,
Echoes in the hallway, they tell our tale.
In the silence of the nights and the break of the days,
It’s your echoes in the hallway that remain.

[Verse 3]
Am – F – G – Em
The rooms are left empty, the laughter’s all gone,
Only your echoes are here to stay.
In every corner, in every space,
Your echoes, they play.

(Repeat Chorus)

[Bridge]
Dm – Em – F – G
In the echoes, I find you,
In the echoes, I lose you again.
But as long as the echoes remain,
In this hallway, you’ll stay.

(Repeat Chorus)

Favorite Fan’s Testimonial:
My name is Lucy Owens. I’ve been following Variable Curtain since their first gig at our local bar. Their music speaks to me on a level that no other artist has before. The sincerity in their lyrics, the raw emotions in their melodies, it feels like they’re telling my story. But above all, it’s their authenticity that makes them my favorite band. No matter how famous they get, they remain true to their music and their fans. Their song “Echoes in the Hallway” is particularly special to me, as it reminds me of my own lost love. For me, Variable Curtain is not just a band. They are a part of my life.
