Backstory:
Unselfish Organism was formed in 2015 in the heart of the eclectic music scene of Portland, Oregon. The band was born out of the desire of five passionate and talented musicians to create something different, a sound that was entirely their own. The group consists of members Ethan Wattson (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Sammy Wren (Keyboard), Remy Drake (Bass), Jimmy Clyde (Drums) and Lisa Gray (Backup Vocals/Flute). They spent countless hours together in a refurbished garage, pouring their heart, soul, and unique musical perspectives to shape their signature sound.
The band faced many struggles in the initial stages of their career, including financial instability and creative differences, but remained resilient and united. Their breakout moment arrived when they performed at the renowned music festival, “PDX Pop Now!” and caught the attention of a local record producer. Since then, their journey has been a whirlwind of sold-out concerts, chart-topping albums, and international tours.
