Backstory:

Frightening Vat was formed on a gloomy night in the fall of 2008 in the basement of an abandoned distillery in Dublin, Ireland. The core members, Murphy O’Connor and Finnegan O’Doherty, while sipping their homemade whiskey, discovered their shared passion for dark and eerie music. The name of the band was inspired by the massive aging vats in the distillery that gave off an intimidating and mysterious aura, much like their music. The band was finally completed when drummer Eamon O’Neil and bassist Seamus O’Brien joined, adding their unique flair to the Frightening Vat’s sound.
