Wary Repair

Backstory:
Formed in the heart of Des Moines, Iowa, in 2015, Wary Repair is composed of four dynamic individuals: Nate Williams (lead vocals, guitar), Sasha Pierce (bass, backing vocals), Jamie Smith (lead guitar), and Tony Walsh (drums). Each member brought a unique musical background to the mix, ranging from folk, rock, grunge, to blues. They were all repair workers at the same factory, which brought them together during a labor strike. During this period, they discovered their shared love for music and started jamming to escape the tension. That’s when they realized they had something special going on; the band Wary Repair was born, their name representing their origins and their cautious approach to life and music.

Title:
“Broken Rhythm”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C G D
Our hearts in sync, like a perfect rhyme,
Em C G D
In a world that’s falling out of time.
Em C G D
We dance to a broken rhythm, can’t you see?
Em C G D
It’s the sound of our own, wild and free.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
Broken rhythm, the beat of our hearts,
Em C G D
Torn apart, but never truly apart.
Em C G D
Like a wary repair, we keep on fighting,
Em C G D
In the darkness, our love keeps igniting.

(Verse 2)
Em C G D
We’re not machines, we’re not parts to replace,
Em C G D
We’re living, breathing, full of grace.
Em C G D
In this world that seeks to break and tear,
Em C G D
We find solace in the music we share.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
Broken rhythm, the song of our souls,
Em C G D
Carves the path, helps us reach our goals.
Em C G D
Like a wary repair, we keep on striving,
Em C G D
In the chaos, our spirit keeps driving.

Testimonial:
“I’ve been a fan of Wary Repair since their initial days. Their story resonates with me – the struggle, the unity, the desire for something more. It’s more than just music; it’s a shared experience. I’ve always loved alternative rock, but there’s something raw and real about their sound. It’s not just about the melody or the lyrics; it’s the emotion they pour into each song. ‘Broken Rhythm’ is my favorite. It’s like they’ve turned their life story into a symphony that speaks to me on a personal level. I feel like they’re not just a band, but a group of friends who’ve let me into their world. Wary Repair is my favorite band because they’ve become a significant part of my life’s soundtrack.”
