Backstory:
Remarkable Sign is an enigmatic indie rock band that formed in the underbelly of Boston’s burgeoning music scene in 2011. The band consists of childhood friends, lead vocalist and guitarist Jake Hanover, drummer Andy Sullivan, bassist Charlie Wilkins, and keyboardist Lucy Tremaine. The four members started their musical journey together in high school, but it was their shared experience of a tumultuous college life that solidified their bond and musical direction. The band’s name, Remarkable Sign, was inspired by an old, worn-out signboard they spotted in their hometown that read, “Live Life Remarkably”.
