Originally, they met during a charity beach cleanup event, discovered their shared passion for music, and decided to form their own band. They started by playing local gigs and quickly gained attention due to their unique sound and captivating performances, eventually landing a deal with an indie record label in 2017.

Genre:
Equatorial Ratio primarily plays Tropical Rock, a hybrid genre that blends elements of alternative rock, reggae, and island music, with a hint of surf rock undertones.

Song Title:
“Waves of Harmony”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Em G D A
Salty air, and the wind in my hair,
Em G D A
As the sun sinks down, there’s magic everywhere.
Em G D A
You and I, under the crimson sky,
Em G D A
Lost in time, in the rhythm of the tide.

[Chorus]
C G D Em
We’re riding waves of harmony, under the starlit sea,
C G D Em
In the echo of the ocean’s lullaby, we’re truly free.

[Verse 2]
Em G D A
Barefoot dances, and stolen glances,
Em G D A
In the moonlight’s glow, love romances.
Em G D A
With every beat of this equatorial heart,
Em G D A
We paint our dreams, under the stars.

[Chorus]
C G D Em
We’re riding waves of harmony, on this endless spree,
C G D Em
In the whisper of the island breeze, we’re truly free.
