Backstory:
Alarming Blood was born out of the raw, powerful chemistry between childhood friends Andre “Dre” Thompson and Samuel “Slick” Carlisle. Growing up in the rough streets of Detroit, the duo bonded over their shared love for music and rebellion. Their escape from the harsh realities of life was their music, which they would play in dreary basements, dilapidated garages, and anywhere else they could set up their gear. Dre’s knack for aggressive guitar and Slick’s fiery vocal delivery quickly earned them a local following. They officially formed Alarming Blood in 2012, adding drummer Tina “Smash” Henderson and bassist Zac “The Machine” Miller to complete their lineup.
Over the next few years, Alarming Blood gained momentum, playing at local clubs and eventually landing a record deal. Their music was a loud, violent, cathartic scream against the injustices they saw in their world. Their live performances were filled with raw energy, and their authentic, uncompromising lyrics resonated with fans. Despite their growing fame, they remain true to their roots, never forgetting where they come from and the struggles that shaped them.
