Backstory:

Crowded Spade was born out of the eclectic music scene of Austin, Texas in the mid-2010s. The band comprises four musicians – frontman Jake ‘Jester’ Reed, guitarist Kyle ‘King’ Harper, drummer Billy ‘Ace’ Turner, and bassist Ryan ‘Queen’ Stewart. They met during a local open-mic night and found a shared passion for creating music with a distinct edge. Inspired by the vibrant alternative music scene, they began to experiment and soon discovered their unique sound. After many late nights jamming in a cramped basement and a few low-key gigs, Crowded Spade emerged with an original style that caught the attention of listeners across the city.

With their popularity steadily growing, they were soon playing at notable venues and music festivals, and eventually signed with an indie label. Their debut album was critically acclaimed, setting them on the path to national fame. However, they have never forgotten their roots, maintaining their unique and authentic sound that first won over their hometown fans.
