Their band name, Suspicious Province, was inspired by their hometown’s reputation for harboring an enigmatic aura and mysterious folklore. Despite initial struggles, they managed to find their footing and impact the local music scene, becoming a mainstay at local pubs.
Their breakthrough came in 2014 when an independent film director, charmed by their unique sound, featured their song in his movie, providing a platform for a wider audience. Since then, the group has steadily grown in popularity and has performed in various music festivals across Canada, allowing them to share their distinctive music with the world.
