Backstory:
Adored Equipment is a four-piece band that was formed in a small garage in Seattle, Washington, in 2012. The group consists of childhood friends Neil Landers (lead vocals), Richard Russell (guitar), Burt Greenwald (drums), and Adam Smith (bass). The band’s name, which is an ironic nod to their humble beginnings with borrowed and second-hand instruments, was chosen after a night of brainstorming and a few too many beers. Despite their different musical backgrounds – Neil being a punk rock enthusiast, Richard a jazz lover, Burt a heavy metal fan, and Adam a follower of blues – they decided to combine their influences to create a unique sound.
Adored Equipment’s breakthrough came in 2015 when they played at the local music festival, earning them their first record deal. Since then, they’ve been touring across the country, charming audiences with their infectious energy and raw, honest lyrics. The band’s down-to-earth attitude, combined with their love for music and dedication to their fans, has helped them to build a strong following that continues to grow.
