Backstory:
Imaginative Yarn is an indie band hailing from the small town of Ashwood, Vermont. The band consists of childhood friends Jamie Brookes (vocals, guitar), Aaron MacDonald (bass), Lila Cutts (keyboard), and Leo Chambers (drums). The quartet found each other through their shared love of music, often spending their summer days busking on the sidewalks of their sleepy town. They officially formed their group in 2013, naming it ‘Imaginative Yarn’ as a tribute to the hours they spent spinning tales and musical journeys.
The band found their breakthrough in 2015 when their second EP, ‘Mellow Meadows’ gained attention on a local radio station, leading to a regional tour and eventually, a record deal. Their music, often described as a breath of fresh air, is an enchanting blend of heartfelt lyrics and mesmerizing instrumentals, painting vivid pictures in the minds of their listeners.
