Backstory:
Formed in the summer of 2009 in the heart of San Francisco, Fluid Intelligence began as a garage band composed of five ambitious friends. The band includes lead vocalist & rhythm guitarist Carla “CJ” Jenkins, lead guitarist Oliver “Ollie” Park, bassist Max “Maverick” Delaney, keyboardist Luna “Loony” Kim, and drummer Zack “Zap” Peterson. They found common ground in their shared love for music and a mutual desire to break the typical mold of mainstream music. With a determination to combine their varied music backgrounds and to create something unique, they began writing music together.

Initially, they began by playing gigs at local cafes and bars, gradually gaining recognition for their unique sound and powerful lyrics. The turning point for Fluid Intelligence came when they won the ‘Battle of the Bands’ at a local music festival, catching the attention of a renowned music producer. The band soon signed a contract with a recording studio and released their debut album in 2012. Their music has since touched millions of hearts, making them a notable name in the music industry.
