Fat Throne

Backstory:

Fat Throne was formed in the summer of 2008, in the suburbs of San Francisco, California. The band was initially a garage project of childhood friends – lead vocalist and guitarist Jake ‘JJ’ Johnson, drummer Kenny ‘K2’ Kowalski, bassist Mikey ‘Mongoose’ Monroe and keyboardist Lily ‘Liquid’ Lockhart. The band’s unique name was inspired by their favorite show, Game of Thrones, and their shared love of cheesy pizza. After years of playing in their garage and local venues, they garnered the attention of a renowned music producer at one of their gigs who signed them to an indie record label.

The band had a humble beginning but quickly rose to fame with their debut album ‘Beneath the Cheesy Crust,’ which hit the billboard charts. The band was known for their high energy performances, intricate melodies, and relatable lyrics. Their honest and raw musical narratives resonated with many listeners, quickly turning them into a household name in the rock world.
