Backstory:

Peppery Tape is a product of the vibrant and artsy streets of Brooklyn, New York. The band was formed in 2015 by childhood friends, lead vocalist and guitarist Rory Gilbert and drummer Eli Hopkins. They were soon joined by bassist and backing vocalist, Sienna Ross, a street performer they discovered at a local music festival. The name ‘Peppery Tape’ came from a hilarious incident one night when the band was recording their first demo. Rory, struggling with a sinus issue, accidentally used a spicier-than-expected chili pepper to clear his nasal passages and then recorded on a physical tape, hence the name Peppery Tape.
