Backstory:
‘Bruised Discussion’ was formed on a cold, rainy night in Seattle, Washington in 2010. The founding members, primary vocalist and guitarist Jason “Jay” Lawson, bassist Liz “Lizard” Winters, and drummer Matt ‘Matteo’ Johnson, were far from being strangers. They were all childhood friends who grew up in the same neighborhood, sharing a profound love for music, and the same favorite hangout spot – a local underground music club. One night, during an open mic session, they decided to perform together. The audience responded with overwhelming applause and cheers, and that night, ‘Bruised Discussion’ was born.
