Backstory:
Immaculate Arm was born in a small, buzzing, coastal town of Brighton, UK. The band’s members, frontman Lucas Green, guitarist Matty Devine, bassist Nicky Harrison, and drummer Johnny Dale, all grew up together, playing music in their respective parents’ garages. After graduating high school, they all decided to take a gap year and focus solely on their musical ambitions. The result was “Immaculate Arm”, a concoction of their shared love for alternative rock and soulful lyricism. Following their debut gig in a seedy local pub, they got an unexpected record deal from an impressed, anonymous indie producer in the crowd, which rocketed them into the music industry’s limelight.

Title:
“Shadows in the Sunlight”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[C]Sailing on the sea of heartbreak,[G] I was lost.
[Am]Dreams of love, they seemed to just [Em]taunt and exhaust.
[F]In the depths of darkness, you [C]came, my beacon so bright,
[G]You were my shadows in the [C]sunlight.
(Chorus)
[C]You, my shadows in the sunlight, [G]mystery in the moon’s light,
[Am]You swept away my sorrow, [Em]made every wrong right.
[F]Your love, like a soft lullaby, [C]has put my fears to flight,
[G]You are my shadows in the [C]sunlight.
(Verse 2)
[C]In the labyrinth of despair, [G]I was caught.
[Am]For a ray of hope, I [Em]constantly sought.
[F]Your luminous smile turned my [C]night into daylight,
[G]You are my shadows in the [C]sunlight.
(Chorus)
[C]You, my shadows in the sunlight, [G]dancing in the starlight,
[Am]Your touch, a gentle whisper, [Em]made my life so bright.
[F]Love’s melody, you sang it just right, [C]making me take flight,
[G]You are my shadows in the [C]sunlight.
