Backstory:
Chubby Fuel is a band that hails from the heart of the midwest, formed in Omaha, Nebraska. The band members, who have been friends since their elementary school days, came together during high school to create music that was a reflection of their shared love for the classic rock and alternative music of the 90s. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jack ‘Chubby’ Lawson, bassist Eddie ‘Fuel’ Baker, drummer Jimmy ‘Stick’ Halter, and keyboardist Sarah ‘Keys’ Anderson. Despite their humorous self-deprecating name, they have always taken their music seriously. They worked their way up from playing in school talent shows to local bars, and eventually, their unique sound caught the attention of a record label.

Band’s Favorite Fan:
The band’s favorite fan is Rachel Morris, a high school teacher. Rachel first saw Chubby Fuel perform at a local bar in Omaha and instantly became a fan. She loved their nostalgic music and the authenticity in their performance. She has been following them since their early days, attending almost all their gigs, and has a collection of their merchandise. Rachel says, “Chubby Fuel’s music resonates with my soul. ‘Midnight Drive’ is my favorite because it makes me feel young and carefree. Their music has gotten me through some tough times. I’m their biggest fan because they make music that makes you feel something.”
