Boring Management

Backstory:
Boring Management was formed in the corporate offices of a mid-level tech corporation in Des Moines, Iowa. Four passionate colleagues, known only by their stage names – Data, Report, Memo, and Budget – while away their monotonous 9-5 routine found therapy in music. Often after office hours, they would convert their conference room and get together for jamming sessions, creating a fusion of sounds that echoed the frustrations, dreams, and desires of the modern working-class employee.

As word spread about their unique sound, this quartet of corporate rebels began performing at small venues around the city. Their music was relatable, and their fan base began growing, comprised of fellow corporate warriors. The band started touring nationally, their poignant lyrics and refreshing beats resonating with office-goers from all walks of life, their music becoming an anthem of the modern working class.

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verses)
Am G C
Working nine to five
Am G C
With no end in sight,
Am G C
Just coffee stains
Am G C
And neon lights.

Am G C
Reports and deadlines, they never cease,
Am G C
Dreams of freedom are out of reach.
Am G C
In paper stacks, we’re buried deep,
Am G C
In corporate chains, our souls, they weep.

(Chorus)
Am G C
Oh, let the weekend come,
Am G C
Release us from this corporate run.
Am G C
In music and words, we find our sun,
Am G C
Boring Management, our freedom is won.
