Backstory

Skeletal Journal was formed in the foggy alleyways of London in 2002 by a group of friends who had just graduated from university. They were all studying various forms of art and decided it was time their shared love for music was made into something tangible. With Bruce Fennel on vocals, Remy Blanchard on guitar, Finn Sullivan on drums, and Jude Harrison on bass, Skeletal Journal was born. The band’s name was inspired by a gothic sketchbook they found in a flea market, which was filled with intricate and haunting drawings of skeletons, establishing not only the band name but also the aesthetic and theme for their future work.
