Backstory:
Bright Member was formed in the sleepy coastal town of Mariner’s Wharf in 2012. The group was initially made up of high school friends, vocalist and lead guitarist Caleb “Cal” Bailey, drummer Nate “Nate Dog” Davis, and bassist Alex “Lex” Monroe. After a few jam sessions in Lex’s garage, they found a unique sound, blending their love for traditional rock and roll with modern pop influences. A chance meeting at a local open mic night led them to Harper “Harp” Lewis, a classically trained violinist, whose inclusion took their sound to another level.
The band started playing at local bars and gradually acquired a loyal fan base. Their big break came in 2015 when a touring talent scout heard them in a local open mic night and signed them up for a major record deal. Their debut album, “Purple Beaches,” was a surprise hit, establishing them as a rising star in the music world.
