Backstory:

Cute Celery is a quirky indie pop band that originated from the colorfully artistic city of Austin, Texas. The group was formed in 2015 by lead singer and songwriter, Cassie Green, who was inspired by her love of fresh produce and the vibrant farmers markets she frequented. With bassist Tim “T-Bone” Boone, drummer Lily Lakes, keyboardist Peter Pepper and guitarist Carly Carrot, Cute Celery quickly gained local recognition for their catchy tunes, whimsical lyrics and fun live performances, all which resonated with the city’s love for all things unique and eccentric.

Their story of success grew from a simple farmers market stand where they used to play small acoustic sets while selling homemade pickles. After a video of their performance went viral on social media, they were invited to perform at a local music festival, which eventually led to their signing with a major label. Despite their newfound fame, they remain grounded, choosing to stay connected to their roots – both musically and vegetable-wise.
